Savor. A Sweet Life Dinner

For Black women who are done asking to belong. August 22, 2026 · Columbia, MD · Cap: 14 Women

The Experience

Savor is one evening, hosted by Rakita Lillard-Brown, Founder and CEO of Holistree LLC and a decade-long curator of luxury experiences for Black women across four continents.

This isn't about the tablescape or the venue. Any room can look beautiful. What makes a Sweet Life Experience is the energy set in it and the intention behind every choice and that's what this evening actually hands you. It's a room built on one belief: Black women belong in luxury spaces as a matter of course, not an exception. Everyone at this table shares the same evening, the same room, the same intention.

WHO THIS IS FOR

  • The woman who wants a night to just be in a room built with real intention

  • The woman who wants to feel what it is to sit inside luxury as the standard, not the occasional treat

  • The woman who's craving community and wants to exhale for an evening

WHO THIS ISN'T FOR

  • Anyone looking for a passive dinner out with no real presence required this evening asks you to actually be in the room, not just attend it

THE EVENING

6:45 -7:00 - Arrival Seated dinner, no agenda yet. This is the room warming up.

7:00 - 7:25 - The One Thing That Matters Most A tight, focused conversation on what it means for Black women to hold luxury as the norm — the energy and intention that make a room feel like this, not just look like this.

7:25 - 8:15 -The Guided Practice Over the meal, Rakita walks the whole table through a shared guided practice in presence and intention — no notes, no pens required.

8:15 - 8:45 - Share-Back A few women share what came up for them. This is where the room does its own teaching.

8:45 - 9:00 - Close You leave with the feeling still in your body, and a keepsake to carry it home.

You’ll leave with

  • An open invitation, whatever brought you to the table

Meet Your Host

Rakita Lillard-Brown (Founder of Holistree)

Founder and CEO of Holistree LLC, a retreat curator and wellness practitioner who has spent a decade building luxury retreat experiences for Black women across continents from Puerto Rico, Grenada, Portugal, Madeira, Antigua, Morocco, and Curaçao, to domestic retreats in California, New Orleans, Martha's Vineyard, and Washington DC. Her gatherings have ranged from intimate rooms of 5 to full experiences of 80+, giving her a working understanding of what it actually takes to hold a room well at any size.

Rakita isn't teaching theory. Everything she brings to this table comes from what she's actually built, broken, and rebuilt across ten years of curating rooms that hold Black women well.

FROM RAKITA

I've seen what happens when a room is held beautifully. And I've seen what happens when it isn't.

Ten years in, I've watched what it does to a woman to finally sit in a room where luxury isn't rationed out to her where it's just the standard, no explanation required. That's the room I want to build tonight.

Come sit with me.

Rakita, your Sweet Life Maven

  • "Through her meticulous planning, fair expectations, and clear communication, she made me feel worthy."

Rakita’s quiet yet assured presence gave me courage to speak up louder than ever because I knew someone in the room believed in me. Her art of communication allows her to see what a person needs as opposed to what they want she goes above and beyond with calm practicality to make the impossible happen.

  • "We walked away with actionable steps and gatekeepers to hold us accountable to our goals."

This was just what I needed to get some serious goals in my business not only started but set. The balance of business building coupled with wellness, relaxation, and rest really assisted in guiding me to be more productive. We had laser coaching on 100 - we spoke our plans, and each one of our sisters lent their assistance on what we could do to improve and get started right away.
