Terms of Service

By booking a retreat with us, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read these terms carefully before making a booking.

Booking and Payment

  1. Booking Confirmation: Your retreat booking is considered confirmed at the time of booking.

  2. Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $750 is required to secure your spot. This deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances due to upfront costs we must incur.

  3. Payment Schedule: The remaining balance must be paid according to the schedule provided at the time of booking. Failure to pay the remaining balance on time may result in the cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of your deposit.

Retreat Attendee Cancellation

  1. If paying in full, you are eligible for a refund (minus your deposit) within 30 days from the date of your booking.

  2. In lieu of forfeiting your deposit, it can be applied as a credit toward a future Holistree / Sweet Life retreat within one year.

  3. If you cancel more than 90 days before the retreat start date, a 100% credit (minus your deposit) will be applied to a future retreat.

  4. If you cancel within 90 days of the retreat, no credit can be applied.

  5. Exceptions may be considered on an individual basis and must be submitted in writing to retreats@holistree.com.

  6. We strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance to protect your investment. Travel insurance information is provided separately.

  7. Refunds are processed within 30 days of the cancellation date.

Retreat Host Cancellation

  1. Holistree LLC, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to cancel a retreat for attendees' safety, acts of God, government policies, or any other unforeseeable reason.

  2. Due to the current climate, we strongly encourage attendees to purchase "Cancel For Any Reason" or "Cancel for Work" insurance.

  3. Upon the occurrence of such cancellation, Holistree LLC will provide a credit for a future retreat, valid for up to one year from the date of the original retreat.

Payment Plans

Should you choose a payment plan, by accepting these Terms of Service and authorizing the charges on your card, you understand you are entering into a legal and binding contract with Holistree LLC to pay the total amount shown on the payment page, to be paid on each date shown in the payment schedule accessible via the payment page, a copy of which will also be emailed to you for reference.

You acknowledge that the credit card(s), debit card(s), or other payment method(s) you are using to make this purchase will be active, valid, and have sufficient funds available during the entire term of the payment schedule.

If for any reason any of your payments are declined, you agree to provide an alternative, valid payment method.

You understand that you may be charged a late fee if a payment is missed on any of the agreed-upon payment dates for any reason whatsoever.

Holistree LLC may decide to withhold or terminate the registration of a retreat if you fail to make the agreed-upon payments as shown in the payment schedule. You understand that you are legally bound to these terms and required by law to make all payments on the agreed-upon payment dates, or via an early payment.

Health and Safety

  1. Health Requirements: Participants are responsible for ensuring they are in good health and fit to participate in the retreat activities. Please consult your physician before booking if you have any health concerns.

  2. Medical Assistance: Holistree LLC is not responsible for providing medical care during the retreat. Participants should have their own travel insurance that covers medical expenses.

Liability

  1. Personal Liability: Participants are responsible for their own actions and any damage or loss they cause during the retreat.

  2. Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover cancellations, medical expenses, and other unforeseen events.

  3. Limitation of Liability for Unforeseen Circumstances: You agree that neither Holistree LLC, its retreat hosts, nor its hotel partners or vendors will be liable or responsible for a cancelled retreat due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including acts of civil or military authority, national emergencies, fire, mechanical breakdown, flood or catastrophe, acts of God, epidemic, pandemic, insurrection, war, riots, or failure of transportation, communication, or power supply.

Code of Conduct

  1. Respect: Participants are expected to treat all other participants, staff, and locals with respect and courtesy.

  2. Compliance: Participants must comply with the retreat schedule, guidelines, and instructions provided by Holistree staff.

Privacy and Data Protection

  1. Personal Data: Any personal data provided to us will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

  2. Use of Images: We may take photographs and videos during the retreat for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be included, please inform us in writing before the retreat begins.

Changes to Terms

Holistree LLC reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be communicated to participants and will be effective immediately upon posting.
